Your profile

Your profile is your CV and business card online. Please introduce yourself first and then describe your career path and education, your skills and interests. The more you complete your profile, the more likely members will request to contact you.

To link your blog to your Viadeo profile, click on My Profile > My Blog > Add my blog to list your blog on Viadeo. Adding a widget on your blog allows you to see which Viadeo members visited your blog.

The link of your blog will be added to My Profile > My Blog.

Introduce yourself before your show people your CV. Put a short summary of your experience and abilities but keep it brief and containing your keywords.

You can add a description of your current and past positions. Use the 'Add a position' link to add a description of each position, with what the company does and what you did and do for them.

Add your education experiences so that you can keep in touch with your former classmates on Viadeo.

Add some details about your company so that the dedicated search engine for products and services can find your company.

Go to My Account to edit your name, password and email address.

You can choose how much information you would like to display on search engines.

By clicking on the 'My Profile' link and then 'My Blog' you can list your blog by topic.

Your blog will be visible to all Viadeo members in real time.

You can also add a widget to your blog. This will show the list of Viadeo members who visited your blog.

Adding your blog increases visits from all Viadeo members.

The email you used to register on Viadeo is your primary email address.

You can add another email address.

• Go to Profile: My Account: Email and password
• At the bottom of the screen, enter the new email address and click on 'add'.
• Then confirm the new address in the email sent to you.

You can then log in with either of these two addresses. However, introductions and requests will only be sent to your primary address.

However, when you send an introduction, it is the primary email address will be used.
